  • QuestionMine either says it's fully charged or about 70% are those the only battery messages?

    Asked by MJG.

    • Answer Hi MJG, Thanks for inquiring about the headphones. When the POWER button is pressed while the headset power is on, the voice guidance indicating the remaining battery charge can be heard. “Battery about XX %” (The “XX” value indicates the approximate remaining charge.) “Battery fully charged” The remaining battery charge indicated by the voice guidance may differ from the actual remaining charge in some cases. Please use it as a rough estimate. In addition, the indicator (red) flashes (about 15 seconds) if the remaining battery charge is 20% or lower when the headset is turned on. For more details about checking the remaining battery charge, please visit this help guide link: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/whxb900n/v1/en/contents/TP0002050065.html Regards, Jess

  • QuestionCan these headphones be used with a PC for gaming and/or XBox and do a decent job?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi there, Thanks for your inquiry. The WH-XB900N headphones can be used for gaming. You can connect it directly to a PC or computer that has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Please be advised that the microphone function of the headphones is disabled when using the supplied cable. An external microphone is recommended for voice chat. Although the headphones can be paired to Bluetooth devices, using this with your gaming console is not guaranteed to work. This is designed to work with audio devices such as MP3 players and/or smartphones. If your TV has Bluetooth, you can connect the WH-XB900N to your TV and experience your game audio. We recommend using headphones that are designed for gaming consoles. Regards, Jess

  • QuestionIs there a plug you can buy to use with a record player in order to make it wireless?

    Asked by CF.

    • Answer Hi CF, Thanks for your question. You can pair these headphones to a turntable or record player with BLUETOOTH connectivity, however, the devices must be compatible. Consult the manual of the device if it has a Bluetooth capability to transmit a signal for Bluetooth connectivity with headphones. Also, if it supports a 3.5mm headphone jack, you can connect these headphones via a wired connection. Please note Sony does not make these kind of devices (Bluetooth transmitter) and we cannot guarantee the full operation and functionality for the headphones. Regards, Jess

  • QuestionI am looking for an over the ear headset that I can use at work to connect to my landline phone. I have a plantronics mda 220 wireless adapter with a Epos btd 800 BT Dongle. will this headset allow me to answer my calls and talk to people on the phone?

    Asked by cheri.

    • Answer Hi Cheri, Thanks for your inquiry. In general, unfortunately, no. You cannot use these headphones with a landline telephone. These headphones will work with phones that have Bluetooth features (A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP). If you're using a cordless landline phone, you'll be limited to using 2.5mm or 3.5mm wired headsets. Unless your cordless phone has Bluetooth built in, you should be able to use a Bluetooth headset. Please refer to the landline telephone manufacturer for compatibility. Regards, Jess
