QuestionI am a drummer and i have a set of WH-XB900N. When i play i generally ‘play along’ and set the headphones to ambient sound. This appears to turn up the ambient sound and that IS my drums. On ‘Ambient Sound’ do all your headsets turn up the outside volume?

- Answer They are primarily designed for music and sound, they don't fully possess the features that some gaming headsets might have, but they do the trick, I can hear someone on the other side of a few walls in a game like siege and know where they are accurately to get them.

- Answer Hi Will, thank you for your inquiry. The Sony WH-1000XM5 isn't ideal for gaming as it is designed for music playback and calls. The audio playback on the headset may be delayed from that on the transmitting device, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology. As a result, the sound may not be in sync with the image when viewing movies or playing games. We recommend our INZONE H9 (WHG900N) or INZONE H7 (WHG700) as gaming headsets instead. - Answer Compared to my triple flanges ear plugged which is rated at about 28 dB. I would say the sound cancelation alone is around 18-24 dB depending on the sound scene.Which is still pretty amazing.

- Answer No sony only wants sony gaming headphones to be used on ps5 so they havent opened upthe Bluetooth connection yet but you can buy a $10 dongle from Amazon or Walmart to make it bluetooth capable or you can use the wired aux cord which is included with the headphones to connect to the controller
