It already has a built-in microphone. You can't connect another mic to the speaker this way (because it's meant as a peripheral), but theoretically you could connect a separate Bluetooth mic to the phone itself. I think that could be tricky though I'm not an expert. It can pair with other speakers, using the app that comes with by Sony. I paired this 100 with XB13 (very similar model) to get stereo sound and it's WAY better than I imagined! Like 1 + 1 = 3 somehow. I've not tried more than 2, but Sony says you can connect several more including other brands models also (don't remember the max # but it seemed ridiculous like 10 or something lol) I'm not sure how good sounds having very unmatched speakers/ sound profile but it's definitely doable. I love this little guy so much :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi AlbertontheCost, Thank you for your inquiry. We are sorry, but the connection of Bluetooth microphone is not recommended and not guaranteed to work. The Bluetooth function of our XB100 is designed to receive an audio signal from audio devices that support the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) Bluetooth® profile (Ex. Mobile phones, smartphones, music players, etc.) for wireless music playback. Additional information: The XB100 features a built-in microphone. You can enjoy hands-free calls with a BLUETOOTH mobile phone that supports the BLUETOOTH profile HFP (Hands-free Profile) or HSP (Headset Profile) via BLUETOOTH connection. As for your second question, unfortunately, no. However, the SRS-XB100 supports Stereo Pair function allowing you to connect 2 SRS-XB100 speakers for a more powerful sound. One speaker plays the sound on the left channel (left side), while the other speaker plays the sound on the right channel (right side) for stereo playback between the speakers. Music is the soundtrack to our lives, and we want you to be able to enjoy your tunes wherever you are. So, we’ve packed powerful, clear sound into a portable body. If you love good music and listening with friends, the XB100 is your perfect partner. I hope this helps you, and thanks again for your question! Best regards, Romeo
