• A:Answer As per the manual, here are the specifications: 30 watts per channel minimum RMS both channels driven at 3 ohms, from 120-10,000 Hz at .7% THD. Dynamic power: 130 watts per channel @ 3 ohms, 1 KHz @ 1% THD Peak power: 235 watts per channel @3 ohms, 1KHz @30% THD So you have 60 watts total of clean power, 260 watts of "dynamic" power; 470 watts of clipped power. :)

• A:Answer No,not directly. However, you can use something like a DJ mixer, for example. Connect microphone to DJ mixer, connect mixer to the line input of the speaker. Set the input on the Sony speaker to Line input.

Q: QuestionWhat's the difference in sound quality between this and the Sony V11? Would like a cd player like Sony V11, it looks to be the same wattage, only difference I can tell is extra bass on the XB7. Don't mind paying extra, just want the best sound. Thanks

• A:Answer THe mhc v-11 has great sound clarity with decent bass, but i noticed the bass would distort at higher volumes whereas the xb7 seems to be clear through all of the volume range. Adjusting the equaliser could possibly have fixed the issue but the xb7 is overall louder and I would recommend it over the v11 just for the out of box performance.

• A:Answer You will need standard coaxial audio cables. They are not included with the speaker. The instruction manual will tell you how to pair the speakers together in what they call a Party Chain using the cables. I was able to link my XB5 with the XB7. For the best performance, you will need 2 sets of the audio cables. But they do have instructions on how to link them with just one set of cables.
