Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bluetooth and NFC are both wireless protocols / technology that don't require a physical wire or cord. An advantage of NFC at least on Android is that you can connect the headset just by simply touching the phone and the headset together. With bluetooth you have to connect under your devices bluetooth settings. Essentially they do the exact same thing, one is just quicker setup than the other.

NFC is through the app they suggest be downloaded to your phone, it allows you to almost tap to connect. Either connection delivers amazing sound quality. No USB required. NFC does not use bluetooth, it's just an alternative connection.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think NFC is able to turn on Bluetooth on your device, and do the pairing for you, simplifying the process. It is wireless, no USB stick is needed. The quality of the signal should be as good as Bluetooth. I'm not sure if NFC requires Bluetooth to work, however.
