• A:Answer Does it have the fingerprint sensor? Yes. Is the fingerprint sensor activated on US version of the phone? No. Can you flash a different region ROM to activate the fingerprint sensor? Yes. Is it hard to do so? Kind of. Will it void my warranty? Maybe.

• A:Answer The battery is not consumer replaceable. I have not looked into a water resistant case. Sorry. I had Z3 compact previously and never needed water resistance. Sony's new xz1 compact is water resistant.
