Q: QuestionI see that the Luminous Chrome, Deep Sea Black and Bronze Pink just popped up today on the website. Is Best Buy getting the Red variant of this phone? Also, because it's sold in the U.S., will it have the fingerprint scanner?

Q: QuestionIs the warranty worldwide? I travel around the world for business at least quarterly. So, I need a phone that has global warranty. I only travel to developed countries and thus I am pretty sure that SONY has repair center at these places.

• A:Answer SONY Customer Service & Support is awful. SONY will not touch a phone if presented for repair anywhere outside the country of purchase. In other words, warranty is only good in U.S. This is a big issue for a lot of SONY customers like you who travel abroad. Do not expect SONY to stand behind your phone if it fails while you are out of the U.S.

• A:Answer Both! You can choose live time to send texts or place calls with either numbers with both SIMs are active. I did test this feature out and I like how it keeps conversations on same screen regardless of whatever number you use. You can control to disable and re-enable any SIM at any given time through settings or quick settings with a simple switch which I do between work SIM and Personal SIM if I don't want both active. Throughout a typical work day I keep both active.

• A:Answer The BB version does not have the fingerprint sensor activated. I am doing just fine without it. There are ways to activate it since the hardware is there but it may void usa warranty.

• A:Answer Waterproof (I tested it in a hot tub and shower while it was still early enough to return). Really neat IPS screen that is not only safe to get wet, it still works. Giant battery. Relatively unpolluted Android distribution, far, far less crapware than Samsung. Two SIM slots (one can take a microSD). Despite the large borders to the top and bottom, people love the look of the phone, if you care. Talk to iPhone X owners, most of them don't seem to love it. The downside, at least for the one I bought, is that the fingerprint scanner in the power button is disabled. I don't care to lock my phone, but per the Interwebs, if you flash the Euro ROMS you can use the fingerprint reader on your US phone. I personally didn't bother.
