Q: QuestionHow long is the data plan covered under the original purchase? Can i mute the chirping sound when i select to talk? How long is the warranty and can i purchase additional extended warranty?

• A:Answer There's a complimentary 2 year data plan that works in over 130+ countries/regions. Afte this, you can renew off your device for $50 a year if you need more data. In terms of muting the chirping sound, there's no ability to turn this off. There's a one year limited-warranty the devices and at the moment, we do not offer extended warranty.

• A:Answer Yes, recently used them on a trip. Spoke into it in English and it translated it into Japanese. Perfect? Not likely. Adequate to facilitate communication? Yes. Shows you what you said on the screen so you can re-record before translating if that isn't what you meant. Worked well for our Japanese host who spoke into it in Japanese and it translated into English.
