A:AnswerNot at all! As an authorized service provider for most brands, we're able to install most speakers -- even if they weren't originally purchased from us.
A:AnswerThe difference between the two would be basic install would be charged if we don't have to remove the entire door panel to get to the speakers and the grill surrounding the speakers comes off to access the speakers. Standard install would be charged if the door panel would have to be remove to get to the speakers. Component install would be charged for any component speaker installation where you have a separate woofer and tweeter and crossover to be installed. Best thing to do is call your local best buy autotech and get a price quote, I may vary between basic and standard install on what kind of vehicle you have.
A:AnswerYes you will be charged double for the two sets of speakers. Check if you can use the less expensive "simple installation", which costs less....
A:AnswerThat was my understanding, that it was 64.99 for the front doors and another 64.99 for the back. I asked about that specifically too in the store because I was going to go ahead and do all four of mine if it was only the one charge of 64.99.
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for reaching out to us about this. We should be able to help you get the output converter and get everything installed. The install price could depend on the vehicle and the specific products you purchased. We'd recommend getting in contact with the store to get an exact price based on those variables. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerJust tell the autotech your concerns and they will explain why or why not. If there needs to be a change in the install they will be more than happy to exchange the installs
A:AnswerBest talk to the service techs at the store. Generally they are very busy but sometimes they have openings due to cancellations. In this case you can walk-in, buy the speakers, and have them install while you wait. But check first and don't assume it will work out as planned.
A:AnswerJust type in the the model and make of your truck and type in does it have a base in other words two speakers or what’s called a premium system of 4 speakers or more than it’s willing to tell you what’s size of speakers and different brands would work for your car or truck
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for your question! It could depend based on the units you purchased and the vehicle. We'd like to know more about the products you purchased and if there's anything else we would need to do. Please give us a call at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778 to provide us with more information so we can best help you.
A:AnswerHello FameWolf - A speaker install would not cover the installation of a subwoofer as well, so you would be looking at an additional fee to get that installed. Please search our site for “subwoofer installation” for pricing on a per-subwoofer basis.
