A:Answer The DAC capability gives you better audio, however, it is really only applicable for music at this time, not playing games (games don't support Hi-Res audio on the PC or PS4). There are a lot of other features that come with that little table-top controller, but you need to ask yourself if it is worth it to you (equalizer, etc.) - they are handy features right at your fingers and you don't have to ALT-TAB out of your current screen. If you are planning on using this for music also, the DAC is a nice feature and probably worth it, but your standard Artis will do just fine if you are only interested in playing games. I have the DAC version, but also picked it up on a Black Friday sale, so it was worth it. If you plan on using it for the PS4, you will find the cables are WAY too short for playing on your favorite sofa or couch. They really made the cables for a desktop application. If you want to dump all of these issues and not have to worry about cables, get the wireless version - if your budget supports it (very expensive!). If you are using this for the PS4, it's still a good headset, but you'll want to get longer cables (they are not proprietary for the PS4).
