You shouldn't have any bass issues, but you'll want to EQ these to get them dialed into what you really like. But that first explosion will scare the heck out of you if aren't careful with the volume.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can get more bass from them by tweaking the EQ. These are a gaming headset, not an audiophile set so they are going to be tuned out of of the box for great gaming performance. Having said that, I've tweaked my EQ to a custom setting for in-game audio that is a little more bass heavy that the 4 or 5 stock EQ curves. I had Astro A40s and while they may have a little more bass with their default EQ, you can get that kind of bass from the Arctis. If you want bass like Sony's wireless headsets or Beats, then you'll be left a little disappointed but they are more than enough for games and listening to a good music balance. In fact, they sound phenomenal with jazz, I think.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I owned the A50's for both my PS4 Pro & My Xbox they didn't sound as good as the Arctis Pro Wireless not even close. You do have to setup the Arctis Properly once you do the Surround effects and bass are amazing. The explosions are amazing plus you can set your own equalizer settings without connecting to a PC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Equalizer is built right into the box you hook to the PC. Use the knob and menus on the OLED screen to navigate to it.

Ill keep you posted if the next one is bad or not if so then im switching back to the Astro a50's
