Q: QuestionGopro SilverI received the gopro silver for Christmas along with the suction cup for my Dashboard mount for my truck and for my Lincoln. I cleaned the dashboard in both vehicles and the suction cup would not work. I called the (888) number and that was no help. I will take the gopro back to Best Buy if I can't get it to work.

• A:Answer I know this sounds stupid, but did you buy the mount made by go pro or just made for go pro? And second the suction cup won't suction directly to a dash board it should have came with an adhesive dash disk that you have to apply to the dash first. I have the suction mount and it holds on to windshields and vehicles superbly well.

• A:Answer I have attached it to the bed cover, sides, and hoods of multiple vehicles going a lot faster than 55 mph and have had zero issues. It held strong in every application I used it in. The only thing I would worry about with a motorcycle helmet is the curvature of the helmet itself, if it could get an adequate suction onto it. I know GoPro makes curved mounts specifically for helmets, however they use 3M adhesive to stick to it.

• A:Answer It might work on some boards, but to secure your GoPro we'd recommend using our Surfboard Mount. The Surfboard Mount has a strong adhesive that adheres to the board and comes with a safety tether in case the mount fails. If you do use a Suction Cup mount, you will want to make sure that the GoPro is secured with some type of backup like a separate tether or additional floatation in case a wave or other bump knocks the mount off the board.

• A:Answer You'll want to make sure that the seals on the mount are clean and that the surface is clean and smooth. If the mount is holding, but the mount is still bouncing, be sure that the arms and connections are all securely locked down.
