A:AnswerHi Randal,
It looks like the metal threaded portion is fixed and a rubberized stopper rotates down to meet a fixed spike at the bottom that captivates the rubber piece. So it looks like you can’t remove it. Sorry for the bad news. I’ll try to send photos. It is possible that the whole threaded rod might be able to be removed, but it is swaged in place so you might not be able to secure a new threaded rod in its place. Good luck!
A:AnswerNo, there is a small egg-shaped elipse in the photo. With some modification the plate may be removed to eliminate this, but I would recommend and insta invisible selfie stick.
A:AnswerNot on this one.. this one is more for taking steady shots as if you had a tripod stand but is faster to move around as there are no stand legs to keep folding ... This one does extend to different heights though
A:AnswerThe top is threaded to screw into your camera base. The bottom has a metal point that helps keep the pole from slipping when it is against the ground
A:AnswerYou will need to download your cameras app the monopod is only to hold the camera. In the app you will have the option to take the photo from your camera with the camera attacked to the monopod. Or for higher views you will have the option to connect with the camera via bluetooth if your camera supports bluetooth. Then you will see the view from your phone n be able to take the picture.
