I don't know what the average game takes up, but I do know that the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild takes up approximately 15 GB of internal storage (when downloaded). If, however, you have physical copy of the game (a game cartridge), then it will take up significantly less space. It is recommended that you purchase an additional memory card (preferably 128 GB or more) so that you can expand the memory of your device's internal storage. You can find the SD Card slot just behind the Nintendo Switch's kickstand. I hope that helps!
