QuestionI've been thinking about bringing out my old gamecube again, however I'm always disappointed with my old controllers. Will this new controller work in my old gamecube? I mean it does have the same plug in right? That's why it needs the adapter.

- Answer Its an official nitendo product, stamped on the back and everything. Feels and plays just like the original gamecube controller. Only difference is a longer cord and textured grip.

- Answer The controller has a normal gamecube connector, so you need the controller adapter that is for the switch or wiiU.

- Answer Yes, there is a built-in rumble motor, however... it will only work on GameCube, Wii, and Wii-U systems on games with rumble feedback support. If this question was asked in regards to it's compatability with the Nintendo Switch and/or it’s games there are several variables. First, you would need a legitimate/well made Nintendo GameCube to Nintendo Switch controller adaptor. Second, a game that supports this feature. Third, you need to plug in both usb leads -Using Legitimate/well made Nintendo GameCube to Nintendo Switch Controller Adaptor- into the Nintendo Switch to allow the data transfer. Ergo, a game like Super Smash Brothers Ultimate presumably would support the new Super Smash Brothers Ultimate GameCube controller’s rumble motor feedback feature.
