Q: QuestionWill you clean my iPad before putting on a new shield?I've had my iPad for a while and would like the existing shield removed and a new one put on. Apparently having an insanely clean, no dirt, no dust, no lint screen surface is key for the shield to be applied correctly and look great after it's on. Cleaning the iPad is not listed as one of the Geek Squad screen installation steps. ??

Q: QuestionBEWARE! They don't install all screen protectors...any advice?I recently bought a Microsoft Pro 3 from Best Buy and a PerfectFit Privacy Glass Screen Protector from a different vendor (it's only available on bestbuy.com...not in stores). Since they don't carry this particular screen protector in store, Geek Squad will not install because if they mess up, there's no way for them to replace it immediately. I asked the rep to speak with a manager and/or see if another store will do it. Rep said they won't...it seems like I HAVE to get an in-store protector (Zagg) in order for them to install...and Zagg doesn't have the privacy glass protector for the SP3. I definitely don't want to install the protector myself. Anybody else experience this? Are there any workarounds? Thanks!

• A:Answer I only ask them to install items I buy at best buy. They have no way of replacing an item it if is damaged during installation. They are simply looking out for their liability, as well they should. I wouldn't buy a Big Mac, then take it to Burger King and ask them to add cheese.
