Yes, if you have an antenna (is what I have) you can record 4 show at once. If you have cable, I'm unsure... and yes you need a separate hard drive to record on a two TB is what I have. I wanted to save money so I cut the cord from cable and satellite. Save about $ 120.00 each month (Tablo) Tech support is great too!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can record and watch shows from your broadcast antenna on your tv. You must have a amazon fire stick or roku or Apple TV box connected to each tv you want to view from. I am using Roku and Apple TV. These are connected through your wireless network. You can also access your Tablo with the Tablo app on your smartphone and tablet away from home. Your Tablo can also be accessed from your computer at Tablotv.com by clicking on the web app. The Tablo will need an external hard drive I’m using an 1Gbyte drive and can handle up to 8gb as of the latest update. That is an item you must purchase
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not come with a hard drive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but they don’t tell you that they wipe out all of your programmed recordings when your free 30 days of the guide is up. Very deceptive and poor customer service. Does not come with hard drive.
