I think Optimum Fiber Optic is your internet service provider? TABLO truly just plugs in to the wall outlet for power and you plug an antenna in to it for TV reception. It uses your Wi-Fi to broadcast to your TVs through something like a Roku stick (that is what we use), but i think Amazon firestick and some smart tvs work as well. You need wifi, but your internet service provider won't matter as long as you have decent internet speeds. The TV signal for the TABLO is not coming through your internet, it is coming through the ante. We are using a cheap flat placemat sized antenna that I put in a window that faces the antenna that the broadcasters use to broadcast the signal and it works well. We are about 35 miles from their antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes is the answer, if it’s the duo one you would be able to record two shows and watch one you already recorded.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to buy a good quality OTA antenna to plug into Tablo. You can record any show from any channel found by the antenna. Yes, The 2 built in turners allow you to watch something else while recording
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's designed for recording over the air (OTA) broadcasts. The co-ax connects to two (or four) ATSC tuners which convert the RF signal to digital format video and audio. I don't know how the signal on the fiber optic is organized, but it wouldn't be the radio frequency signal that's broadcast. As for the number of signals, Tablo can convert and record two (or four for their 4 tuner model) signals at once. You can watch one while both are recording. I think you can also watch any recorded program while new ones are recorded, but I'm not 100% sure.
