This device provides a means to record and stream over-the-air TV channels. It can be accessed from a web browser, smartphone apps, or apps available for Roku or other similar devices. Once you access it, it provides a guide with time-based and program-based listings so that you can either stream live TV or set up to record programs. The guide includes all programs that are available based on your over-the-air channels for the next two weeks. By selecting a particular program, you can select to record one episode or all episodes in the series as they are broadcast. To my knowledge, this device cannot be used to stream Netflix and other streaming content providers. Instead, it gives you the capability to record and stream over-the-air TV channels to the same devices you use to watch these other services (Roku, smartphone, PC, etc.). For example, I use a Roku to stream Netflix, DirectTV Now, and Tablo to stream content to my old analog TVs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device does not include a remote because it is designed to transmit your OTA channels via a stream over your network. You must have a device at the other end to receive it; gaming console, chromecast, laptop, iPad, cellphone, Roku, Android TV, etc. Depending on the receiving device, they may or may not have a native app. Most devices will. Within that native application, you will see the channel guide and you can simply click on the broadcast event and select to record it from within the app. Once the recording is complete, you can see the event listed also within the app. It's very easy to use and you can configure what level of quality you wish to record in, depending on the size of your attached storage. That is likely the downside. This device does not include storage for it's DVR capabilities. This means you get to CHOOSE how much storage you want! Personally, I just grabbed a flash drive I had on the desk and plugged it in the back. It was that simple. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can go to live TV and use the guide to find a program for the next day and select it and then record it on the hard drive of your choice up to 8GB. There is no remote. You download the app for Tablo-lite on a ROKU, tablet, PC or other streaming device...then you connect to the device through your app. You cannot stream content from the internet with this....however, you can stream to the internet if you are going away so that you can access your local channels from another location via the internet. I hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You must have it connected to a Smart TV and control using the Tablo app. A list of supported devices is available on the Tablo website. https://www.tablotv.com/products/tablo-dual-lite-ota-dvr/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit can only be connected through a streaming device that is connected to your wireless router. It receives the off air channels and saves them and gives you the option to record the programs from the program guide or by selecting the program from the menu. you can add a hard drive up to 8GB and it will store all your programs that come in from the antenna off the air. We love it, but I suggest getting a ROKU. Your Tablo will be added as a ROKU channel and that is how you can access everything. You can also access your Tablo-lite from a desktop or tablet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Assuming you want to view content on a TV, you'll need a Roku, Chromecast, FireTV, or other of a number devices compatible with Tablo. For our main TV we watch videos on an Android TV and the remote which came with the Android TV to control it. For other TVs we cast desired content from from our Android phones to the Chromecast attached to the other TVs. For what it's worth you can also watch and select recordings using tablets and PCs using a web browser.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s app based so need a Roku or fire stick or Apple TV to communicate between Tablo and tv. Works with all of them very easy to set up and then use daily. Thing is awesome

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The device is accessible through an android or iOS app, or through a web browser, so no remote is needed. This device is only able to stream OTA channels, it does not have Roku, Netflix, Sling, etc. connectivity.
