No dedicated remote. You either use your streaming device (Roku, Apple TV, etc.) or your smartphone.

You must install the App, to configure and control it.

The Tablo does not have a remote control because it does not connect to your Television. You can use the Table App software to program and view your recordings on your App device (phone, pad, tablet, etc). I have also casted to my TV using Chromecast from my phone which was running the Tablo App. You can also use ROKU which is the best interface to program the Table and view your recordings. The ROKU has a remote and is the best way to use the Tablo.
