A:AnswerThe quality of photo about the same when on tripod. The big differences for me is being able to obtain. a few handheld shots with vibration control. Heavy but sometimes you may not have time to setup tripod. I upgraded and glad I did
A:AnswerMake sure you get the G2. It is superior to the previous models. It will mount directly to your 70D but as a 240mm-960mm. This lens will also work on the Canon Full Frame like the 5D and 6D Mk II but it will be a 150-600. I use it on an 80D for moon shots and distant wildlife. It is a great lens.
A:AnswerI have a Rebel 5 and it works just fine, I believe you run inot issue with a crops sensor camera, great lens though I think, building biceps one shoot at a time
A:AnswerYes it is. I believe the canon t6 has an Ef-s lens mount which is compatible with EF lenses. The tamron sp150-600 g2 is for ef/ef-s mounts.
I have a rebel t8i which is ef-s and use the tamron so150-600 g2 and it works great!
