“How do you charge the keyboard in the case. Is there a specific usb cord?”

We are using the Tarsus case on a 2021 12.9" iPad Pro which requires a USB-C charging cable (supplied with iPad). We charge the iPad with the Apple cable and have also used several after market cables (both straight and right-angle USB-C connectors ). All have worked with no interference with the Tarsus case.. However, my wife complained that the the Right-Angle connectors are hard for her to remove since the case makes it more difficult to grasp the connector to pull it out (easy fix is to reverse the cable and use the straight end connector for the iPad connection). No issues with normal straight connectors that are most commonly used.

If you are referring to our VersaTYPE (which includes a keyboard), then you can charge with the included cable. Depending on the model, it will be a microUSB or USB-C cable.
