• I feel your pain and agree. There is no way to disable these as of 4/19/2022 but what I do is just mute the TCL and control optical via the input device.

• When connecting a soundbar via Optical to one of our TCL TVs featuring Google TV, there are currently no settings to disable the TV speakers. You would have to turn the TV sound to zero, and then use the soundbar remote to control the soundbar volume. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
