- Answer In order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). QuestionCan someone PLEASE explain the difference between TCL 55S425 & 55S435?? I cannot find the answer ANYwhere online. When I went to a local store yesterday, the kid could not give me an answer either. They are both Roku and all the specs appear the same?

QuestionTCL 55" Class 4-Series 4K UHD HDR Roku Smart TV - 55S435 - Is the remote control RF or IR - line of sight?. Does the remote control have a headphone jack on it for private listening? I have this feature on my ROKU box remote and it comes in handy.

- Answer This TCL Roku TV features a a standard IR remote and does not feature a headphone jack. However, you can download the free Roku mobile app on your Smartphone or tablet to use as a remote. QuestionRegarding the answer to my previous question (55S425 VS 55S435) - Which is the newer model? The 425 lists manufacture year as 2019, but the 435 does not say. Also, it appears the 425 has many more streaming services (Hulu, YouTube, etc), is this accurate?

- Answer The composite connection for this TCL TV is a single input located on the back of the TV near the other inputs. You would need to use an adapter to connect the traditional red/white/yellow cables you are used to seeing. The adapter would need to be purchased separately. Hope this helps! QuestionWe just bought this TV and all is great except the control device doesn't have #'s. This makes it difficult to access the standard antenna TV channels. Can we buy a device with #'s that will be compatible?

- Answer Currently, our smart TVs do not support the direct input of channel numbers for OTA. However, if your TV is connected to the Internet, you can press the left arrow key to populate a channel guide and navigate channels this way. Additionally, you can enable "favorites" for over the air channels so that your most-watched channels will automatically appear towards the top. To enable favorites you would go to Home>Settings>TV inputs>Antenna TV>Favorite Channels>Enable. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

QuestionIs there a way to connect some type of head phones besides the audio out or using an app and still have the speakers work? I have a family member who is hard of hearing I would like to wear headphones while the rest of us listen at a volume normal level.

- Answer Currently, if connecting headphones, it will automatically disable the TV speakers and any other audio output. There are no settings to adjust this. - Answer There is not a physical button for it, but there is an option for it. Simply press the asterisk (*) button on your TCL Roku TV remote while watching content, highlight the sleep time option, and choose how long you want to set it for (30minutes-3hours). - Answer Our TCL Roku TVs do not currently support Bluetooth. However, you can download the free Roku app on your smart phone or tablet to use voice search, voice control, and experience private listening. To enjoy private listening you simply click private listening in the app, and attach headphones to your smart phone or tablet. QuestionThe back looks like it only has two holes (lower end) for a mount, this doesnt seem right, shouldnt there be two more holes at the upper end?

- Answer There are a total of 4 mounting holes. 2 of them have screws in them, and should be removed. We recommend using the appropriate M6 screws that come in the mounting bracket screw kit. This TCL TV uses a 300mm x 300mm VESA mounting pattern. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
