I just bought my TCL 5 days ago and I am experiencing a random power off every day also. This causes me to fail online games and everyone looses!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased mine from Best Buy in November of 2018 and it does the same thing. My first thought was that it was overheating but there are times that it turns itself off within 10 minutes of be turned on and there are instances of it being on for more than 24 hours straight with nothing happening. Sometimes weeks go buy with no instances, other times it will happen several days in a row and sometimes several times in a day. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought my 6 series Nov. 18 and mine for several months has been randomly turning off and now it is turning on by itself. This is very frustrating.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue (though about 15-30 minutes) and did the resets and software update. I had just bought mine, so I exchanged it for a new one. The second one has no issues. I suspected a motherboard or power supply issue related to heat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES! Apparently it is very common with ALL models of TCL Roku TVs. Mine didn't start until it was about 5 years old, but others started right out of the box. Different things have worked for different people -- TEMPORARILY -- so it sounds like a major issue with the brand! I have worked with TCL customer service who only reset to factory (which I had already done). Worked fine for a couple of hours. I'm looking at purchasing an RCA Roku next time. After this headache, I probably will never purchase a TCL again!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, same issue with mine, despite turning off all of the "power saving" features. Software updates and factory resetting haven't fixed the problem. Going to have to take this one back to the store and hope I get one that actually works...
