Google TV is like a dashboard that connects you to all your streaming apps, games, etc that you download to your TV. I think it was once called Android TV as well. YouTube TV is like digital cable. It is a pay subscription service.

No. We do not pay for Google TV and just use our regular account on YouTubeTV and have no problems at all.
