- Answer Don't know what TCL would say, but I inverted my feet so they are pointing in (without doing any modifications) and the TV would now sit on any surface over 37 inches long and about 11 1/4 inches wide.

- Answer For mounting on a wall? It's VESA 300 x 300 and I used the exact same screws that came with the TV which are M6 x16mm according to the TV Manual I found from the TCL website. I also purchased the "Mounting Dream Tilt TV Wall Mount Bracket" and it came with various screws that worked. I w

QuestionI have noticed that the 65r617 comes with an infrared remote. While I realize the model at best buy (65r615) does not, is the unit capable of working with the infrared remote? I've noticed I can get on amazon and buy an IR remote for 9 bucks.

- Answer I purchased the 65R615 from my local Best Buy just a few weeks ago. I then purchased the Roku® Enhanced Voice Remote with TV power and volume buttons model # RC193 online direct from Roku. The remote works perfectly with this TV and controls all functions using RF, and not IR as the remote did which was included with the 65R615. Voice commands also work very well. This remote (RC193) is definitely an upgrade from the remote included with the tv and is the one that should have been provided in the first place by Best Buy.

- Answer If you've got a dvd player, just connect it to one of the HDMI channels. It will work great, but plan on keeping your dvd player remote to control it.

- Answer TCL: Picture menu > Advanced picture settings > Action smoothing: Off. On the 2018 TCL 5 series we checked, smoothing was disabled in Movie mode.

QuestionAre you able to invert the feet of the 65 inch TV? If so, will the TV be able to fit on a 40 inch wide stand?

- Answer Yes. I did it. The feet can be installed pointing in or out without any modifications. You could support it on a 37 inch surface with only about 1/4 inch to spare. So, you should be fine with 40 inches. I'm on a surface that is 43 inches long with plenty to spare.

QuestionIs this set compatible with Spectrum (fka Time Warner) cable? Which channels can be seen on ROKU without a cable subscription? I’ve never used ROKU and am unclear on whether it obviates the need for cable (ie replaces cable) or merely supplements it.

- Answer Roku replaces cable and you just need an internet connection for it. Keep in mind that Roku is just an interface with channels for popular streaming services, e.g. Hulu, Netflix, YouTube TV, Pandora, Spotify, Sling, etc. As such, you will need to have (or create) subscriptions with whatever streaming service(s) you wish to use to obtain the content that you like.

QuestionI'm noticing thin/small white vertical lines along the left edge of the screen. They come and go. I see them when using Sling, Netflix, etc. Any idea on how to fix it?

- Answer Sounds like you have vertical banding (poor screen uniformity.) There is NO FIX other than replacing the panel. TCL 6 series has known issues with this.

QuestionWe have a TV stand that is 50 inches wide. Will this TV's "feet" fit on our stand?

- Answer For this 65 inch TCL Roku TV, the feet spacing to fit on a stand is 55.5 inches. The stand would need to be at least this wide. This TV is also compatible with most wall mounts and table top mounts that support a 300mm x 300mm VESA mounting pattern. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

QuestionI like my Xfininity dvr box. Can I use it with this tv? I have other TCL Roku tv's but don't use cable boxes with them. I don't want to use the Xfinity Beta app.

- Answer Absolutely! You would simply connect the Xfinity cable box to this TCL Roku TV as you would any other TV. This TV has the following Inputs: 3 HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 (one with HDMI ARC), 1 USB (media player), RF, Composite, Headphone Jack, Optical audio Out, Ethernet. Thank you, TCL Customer Support

QuestionWill the TV pass Dolby Digital audio to my receiver either by optical or ARC ? my receiver doesn't support 4K so I want to hook my FireTV4k directly to the tv but still get surround from my receiver. my current tv will only pass 2ch pcm over optical.

QuestionI just bought a 65" TCL. The top two threaded mounting holes are actually studs that stick out about 1/4 inch from the TV. The bottom two are flush with the TV. Do I use spacers on the bottom two? Otherwise it doesn't look parallel.

- Answer You can attach a mounting bracket without attaching spacers. It will not sit flush, but it will be secure. Or if you prefer, you can attach spacers to the bottom two holes to make then even. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

QuestionWhile at Best Buy I was introduced to "refresh rate" in regards to fast action sports and action movies. They explained there can be ghosting or pausing on sets with low refresh rate. Any issues with refresh rate and action picture quality on this set?
