QuestionWill new models of the Series 8 4K TVs be coming out in 2021? I am looking for eARC support and ATSC 3.0 NextGen tuners. Thank you.

- Answer No. They will continue the 4K 2020 Series 6, and IF they come out with a 2021, they will be 85" and maybe 75" 8K Series 6. eARC support and HDMI 2.1 is SUPPOSED to be included, but not NextGen tuners. The next Series 8 is supposed to be released in the 4th quarter of 2021, and be and 85" 8K with miniLED OD_Zero and is expected to cost over $4K. With the chip shortage and shipping issues and Covid, everything is subject to change. For 65" check out the Hisense U8G

QuestionWe are big NHL hockey fans! So how is this tv for watching sports? IS this this TV good for a family room, has natural light sunny in summer month etc.. some TV's need Black out Theater setting to enjoy thank you in advance

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. QuestionI keep having an issue with the sound coming on but it sounds so faint that you can barley hear it. I have had this happen a few times but eventually comes back is their a reason mine keeps doing this?is their an easy way to fix it when it does happen?

- Answer Mine has done the same thing on occasion. I've always resolved it by rebooting. Either pull the plug, or go through the settings menu to restart the system.

QuestionI've been experiencing dark spots in a grid like pattern, especially on lighter or white screens. It's noticeable when a camera pans horizontally, creating kind of a motion blur effect. Anyone else?

QuestionHas anyone else had issues with Audio sync while watching Blu-ray on this TV? I have tried multiple blu-ray players and Movies and the audio sync goes in and out a LOT. The only solution I have found is to turn on "game mode".

QuestionI'm hoping to use curbside pickup for the TCL 65" Series 8. If it is still in the unopened box, can I transport it lying on it's side? I have read articles saying that can damage the screen.

QuestionHow is the sideview of this tv ? Does the color washout when looking from the side ? Is this the newest model? 2020

- Answer This is technically the 2019 model, but the ones being built in 2020 supposedly have a smaller chance of some sort of defect. This is just from reports and reviews I have read. I have had absolutely no problems with mine. Now for some bad news. It doesn't have a very wide viewing angle. The viewing angle is definitely big enough that if you are sotting at the far end of the couch, it should look fine. But if you are looking at it from somewhere off to the side, it does look pretty muddy. From what I have read, and from my own experiences, once you pass 45° the image will darken and become muddy pretty quickly the more of an angle you get.
