I just bought this TV and my entertainment center is 60” wide so I had to turn the legs in to fit the tv on it. It is very solid as the feet still project out the same distance. I think TCL just gave you a “no” for liability reasons.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this TV and had to turn the feet in to fit my entertainment center as well. It seems very solid. I agree with the other poster that TCL just told you not to just for liability reasons. I’d prefer the feet were just straight rather than pointed in or out!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, they can be inverted, and it is quite stable. Even with the feet the correct way you can accidentally tip the screen a little. Its a big heavy piece of tech, laws of physics being what they are. Just make sure the screws go in enough that you cant tug on them and remove the feet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Inverting the feet is not recommended. The feet on the TV are designed to be attached to the TV as stated in the directions. In order to maintain stability and safety, the feet should be attached as instructed. When attached correctly, the feet spacing to fit on a stand is 62.3 inches. Hope this helps!
