I used the supplied optical cable to connect it. I believe you can also use HDMI if you prefer that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you need cables but they are provided with the sound bar.. you can connect with HDMI cable or with digital audio cable. Can also be pared wirelessly though Bluetooth if you TV has that that technology. However, if you use Bluetooth and wanted to connect your phone to play music wirelessly in the room, you would not be able to use that feature if you have your TV connected through Bluetooth.

Please try again later.The sound bar comes with several cable options such as: 1) HDMI ARC 2) Optical cable Also comes with an IR pass through cable in case your sound bar blocks the tv’s IR receiver. The sound bar comes with what you need, except obviously the TV to plug it into.
