Disconnect you cable cord if you have one and behind you tv set all of them have this there is a place that says TV antenna that is where you screw it into then on your clicker hit menu then channel and pick antenna Air , the run and lock in all your channels I don't use the plug in enhancer with the Terk for I found that I got so many more channels with out it .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just in case you don't have this done yet: I have an Element HDTV, and I tried the Terk antenna, but I'm too far away for good reception, so it didn't work well enough for me. However, here's what you need to do. I think the Terk Antenna comes with a coax (round) cable, so just connect it to the (round) port at the back of your TV (and to the small booster box for the antenna). The one I had wasn't very long, so the antenna needed to be pretty close to the TV. You can buy a longer cable if needed. After your TV and Antenna are connected, and your Antenna is plugged in for power (and turned on), you then need to perform a Channel Scan on your TV to find available channels. Your particular TV model may be a little different than mine, but hopefully these steps are similar. Turn on your TV and use your Remote: Press the "Source" button - Scroll to TV, and press the OK key; Press the "Menu" button, and scroll down to "Channel"; press the right arrow(>) key to where the option is Air/Cable, and use the right arrow key (>) to toggle between the choices; when it shows "AiR", press the down arrow key to the "Auto Scan" line; use the right arrow key (>) to Start Auto Scan. This process will take several minutes while the Antenna is searching for available channels. It will show you how many channels are found in the whole spectrum of numbers. Once this is completed, your TV will automatically go to the first available channel. Use your remote to move up and down the available channels. You can press the "info" key to see what is on the channel you are at, but there is no Guide to show you what's on other channels or what's coming on next. However, There is a website where you can find the programming for stations in your area. It is http://www.ontvtonight.com/guide/ Hope this helps!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought mine today, hooked it up,very simple, got all the channels I wanted, would recommend this antenna to any one, going to buy another one for a tv in bedroom, very satisfied.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would need to check your tv, as long as there is avi (3 separate cables yellow, white and red. Or coaxial cable (standard cable tv cable) input on the back of your tv you will be golden. Otherwise you would need to see about buying a converter cable that excepts coaxle and makes it HDMI.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your TV has an HDMI port, it will plug into that. Then assuming your TV has an on-board tuner and a channel changer on the remote, you use that to select the channel you want to watch, up and down or direct by typing in the channel number.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not familiar with an Element TV, but our HDTV we just attached the coax cable from the antenna to the TV as if it were attached to the regular cable box, just replacing the cable box.
