• The lithium-ion battery is only meant as a backup so you don't lose anything in memory when replacing the AAA batteries.

• Batteries are received with the product. Cannot remember specifically but they are either AAA or AA. They are not rechargeable batteries.

• This calculator does not come with Lithium ion batteries. It comes with and uses 4 AAA. You can purchase rechargeable AAA’s separately.

• Hello SonicWill, thank you for bringing this to our attention! We will make the correction to Alkaline, 4 AAA. Note that the TI-84 Plus CE has a rechargeable battery in case that is what you are trying to find.
