“My Ti 84 plus keeps saying waiting and is frozen. I took the batteries out for 8hrs and when I put it back in it still says waiting. Please advised. Thanks”

Perhaps try pushing the reset button with a pen tip or paper clip end. Also your batteries may need replacing.
