QuestionAug 4, 2017 My son needs this for school. The blue color is sold out. I called the Roseville store in MN. They said they don't know when more will be available. Do you know if and when you will get have this calculators in blue available ? Thank you.

- Answer Calculator will do the job in any color. My son’s is purple and he is getting by just fine. Now the question is, how badly does your son need the calculator?

- Answer The TI-84 Plus CE is a numeric calculator. It will perform definite integrals but not indefinite integrals nor do any symbolic manipulation. In order to do symbolic manipulation, you will need a calculator with a computer algebra or CAS system. The TI Nspire CX CAS is a great option and is accepted on the College Board AP Calculus exam. - Answer There is a third party CAS Engine available for the TI-84+ CE. However, TI recently removed the functionality to run C and Assembly programs on your calculator for firmware versions 5.5.1. When I bought mine, it had 5.4.0 and I had no issues. You can use a jailbreak to downgrade the Firmware or renable Assembly and C programs in the latest firmware. Short answer: Yes, but may require installing additional software on the calculator.
