Please try again later.to answer your your question, yes this will fit inside the tower model you describe, unless you have the mini or the SFF model, then you would need a different unit, To answer your other question, this unot alone would not support you in a power outage, you would need an independent UPS backup battery connected to the pc power cord for that to work, and the larger the wattage, the longer it will last on battery.
