Hello There, If you have the Dash Cam connected to a Hotspot (Smartphone Hotspot, In-Vehicle Hotspot, or Hotspot Device) while driving, you can set up the Strong Impact Upload. The Dash Cam will automatically send the phone connected to the account a notification and a 20 seconds incident clip. This can also be set up to send to multiple devices. That can then be downloaded to the device directly.

Yes, it can be retrieved with the app that thinkware has available for both iOS and Android. If there is an impact the camera will store that portion of the wreck in a separate folder on the memory card so that you can manually download it wirelessly to your phone as a video file!
