How would I attach this to a TV remote control? null

Tile has a key ring hole or double side tape may work .

I used heavy duty double sided tape from Lowe’s. Velcro would probably work too.

I imagine the easiest way would be to get a command strip for it

You could try double sided tape or self stick Velcro tabs.
