Items in the home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Great question! Tile is powered by Bluetooth technology as opposed to GPS. This means that it works within a certain range (150-400 feet) and is best reserved for non-moving items. For long-distance tracking and moving items, GPS is typically your best bet. Tile is a great alternative for tracking down misplaced items, such as your keys, wallet, purse, and even TV remote. For any lost items that are out of range, you can also utilize the power of our Tile Network to help update its location. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one in each car. If it is parked within 250 ft of my home I can list that as a usual address (and other addresses) and if it’s been moved I have the option of “recent location” which will track when your car or other item has been for the past 2-4 weeks….you can at any time press “find my wallet “ and after a few minutes, you will get a location on a map showing where it is. Of course the extra insurance coverage will not cover replacing cars or pets, only car keys…and you will not get a notice (like an alarm does), if the item has been moved from its last location….you have to use your phone app to “find my …..”
