Hi Heather, the Tile Pro has a range of 400 ft. or 122 meters while the Tile Mate only 200 ft. or 61 meters. The volume is louder for the Pro, the Pro is a little bit larger at 42 mm x 42 mm vs. 35 mm x 35 mm. I believe both have 1 year replaceable batteries.

Plus, the Tile Pro is slightly louder, meaning that if you are near the end of that 400-foot range, you should be able to hear it. I went with the Tile Pro, and I'm super happy with my purchase.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From what was explained to me is the Tile Pro gets a better range than the mate. So basically the mate has a range of 200’ diameter while the pro has double that. In short the pro I say is better since you can be further away from it than the mate an still locate it’s position
