Keep in mind that Tile is powered by Bluetooth technology as opposed to GPS. This means that it works within a certain range (100-400 feet) and is best reserved for non-moving items. For long distance tracking and moving items, GPS is typically your best bet; however, GPS often has significant drawbacks such as cell service contracts, poor battery life, and price. Tile is a great alternative for tracking down lost items such as a crashed drone or keys that have been dropped off of a forest trail.
