Dear customer, Thanks a lot for your question. No, you are not using this machine to do some cleaning job on any carpeted surfaces. All of our Tineco wet-dry vacuums are designed to work on non-carpeted floor such as vinyl, tile, and sealed wood floors. Hope my answer helps. Best, Tineco Customer Care
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can vacuum carpets and do some surface cleaning at the same time but it isn’t going to vacuum a carpet as well as a regular vacuum does. I use it to vacuum and wash surface of my area rugs but for a thorough cleaning I would use washing machine or carpet cleaner for large area rugs to do a proper job.
