• It’s the exact same with an extra roller and a larger size bottle of the cleaner. Do not believe the false advertising that this is Tineco’s smartest, most advance wet/dry vacuum and hard floor cleaner, the S5 Pro is the most advanced, which this is not.

• Dear Helen, Thank you for your question. As long as it's non-carpeted floor including vinyl, tile, laminate, and sealed wood floors, you will have no problems using this machine. As for the differences, S5 Extreme has a "suction only" mode to deal with wet surfaces, and comes with an extra brush roller compared to S5. Hope my answer helps. Have a nice day!
