Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve owned a Tineco for 5 years and 3 different models. My current model is the one stretch S6, which IMHO is their best model. First, the dirty water tank isn’t designed to fill up; it fills about 1/4 and then it is Full and will stop until you empty it! Second, the old firmware was a routine and not smart. If you empty the dirty tank and then place it on its charger, it still asked you to empty the tank. This is because it was a routine you had to follow in its order not yours! You didn’t follow it, it will complain. The new firmware is smarter. The new dirty tank is better where you have the bottom as liquid and the top half for solids; much easier to empty and no parts falling into the toilet! The old version only 1/3 could be liquid and there was a little attachment the size of your thumb to catch the solids; terrible design! So, if none of this fits with tour circumstance then take a look at the sensors inside the dirty water tank. If you keep the tank moist all of the time the sensors will build up rust. Use an eraser, light disposable nail file or super light sandpaper and lightly remove the rust. Try to let air in the to dry it out between uses and make sure you empty it after every use. The next common issue is something stuck! Remove the tank, use the brush supplied and clean out the hole. Next take the roller and cover off and clean the area as instructed in the manual. There’s a hole to clean out behind the roller as well. All of this is in the manual. Put it back together and it should be like new! Call their support, if it is still causing an issue as you may need them to send you a firmware update or you may have a bad contact. Both will likely be no charge to you if you are still under warranty. They are great to work with so don’t hesitate!
