Can you use your own cleaning solution? null

I add a little bit of vinegar. No bubbles. Helps eliminate floor odors and good cleaning agent.

So, I attempted using a concentrated solution that says on the bottle “safe to use with hard floor cleaning machines” and while the Tineco works, the solution begins to foam instantly as it runs through the machine into the dirty water tank and sends out an alert that the machine needs to run a self clean cycle. Attempted using a smaller amount of concentrated solution thinking I used too much, but the same issue followed. If you did use another solution, it would need to be something that doesn’t foam up when added to water.

I have used a small amount of thieves from Young Living. Smells great, works great!

That is a great question, thank you for asking! It is not recommended to use any other third-party solutions in the iFLOOR3. The floor washer is designed to be used with Tineco cleaning solutions to optimize the amount of bubbles that are produced with cleaning solutions. Third-party solutions can cause an overabundance of bubbles when cleaning that could fill up the dirty water tank within minutes of use. Thanks!

Like any cleaner it says only use our brand but yes you can use another cleaner. It is mixed with water anyways so I don’t see how it could possibly damage the machine in any way.

I used a tiny bit of another product and my tineco looked like it had rabies!! I can’t stand the smell of vinegar but that literally might be the only other option?? I’m going to check some other options today we’ll see! I’ll try to report back!

I used pledge all purpose floor cleaner and I didn’t have any of the excessive foam.

2 cups white vinegar + 2 cups distilled water + 1 cup isopropyl alcohol + 6 drops of dishwashing liquid
