• I didn’t have a Dyson pet, but I had a Dyson stick vacuum that this was replacing. I am not disappointed at all!! In fact the boost function on this is more powerful than my Dyson was

• According to Consumer Reports it's about the same. But I saw a video test on YouTube that gave the edge to the Dyson V11 on carpets.
