• TIVO has a warranty and will repair it for a small cost if out of their warranty. If you get the Best Buy extended warranty they will replace a bad unit and TIVO will move the license to the new box.

• Tivo will not fix a unit (unless it is under warranty.) Weaknees.com will repair the Tivo's. usually they just replace the hard drive. OR they will send you a new one. It's much easier to just goto Best Buy and get a new Tivo.
