To have a whole-home DVR solution, you would need to pair a TiVo Mini with the Bolt. The Bolt being on 1 TV and the Mini being on another. The Bolt and Mini both have MoCA capability, so they can network using the coaxial cable in your house. The Mini will use a tuner from the Bolt to watch live TV or can stream recorded shows from the Bolt to the Mini. There is a monthly service fee with the Bolt (after the first year), but there is never a monthly service fee with the Mini.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It only controls 1 television.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to buy a TiVo Mini for each additional set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will have one main Tivo DVR box, and other rooms will have the option of using the Tuners from that box from having a Tivo mini in that room. Keep in mind that each mini box will use up one tuner on your main Tivo box, so if you have for instance a 4-tuner Tivo (Bolt) then when you are watching cable on that mini only 3 tuners will be available for the main Tivo until you turn off the mini.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need supporting equipment to watch TiVo on multiple sets.by using the $149.99 Tivo Mini, which will let you stream from your TiVo Roamio as well as a TiVo Bolt to the best of my knowledge. I have multiple TiVos so I don't have a need for them at present due to upgrading previous TiVos as they become slow and less usable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i assume you currently have multiple cable boxes. if you buy one tivo box you can add tivo mini boxes for all the other tv sets and get everything recorded on the primary box at the secondary sites, plus all of the extra apps. the only catch is you need wired ethernet or coax cable to connect them all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All Tivo DVR's are for one TV only. They will replace one of the cable boxes that are provided by your cable company. The good news is that you have the option of purchasing the less expensive Tivo Mini for the other TV's in your house that will then replace the rented boxes in those rooms. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to have a main TiVo - then a mini TiVo on any tv that you want an additional TiVo service hooked up to.
