Yes it does. You will plug the TiVo into an available HDMI Jack on your TV. Go to your TV's menu and select the input that the TiVo is plugged into.Using that input you can use the TiVo as your tuner. You will need to have an over-the-air antenna tied into the TiVo unit. You will also need an internet connection. Either Wi-Fi or hardwired will work. Once you have done all this, turn on the TiVo. On screen prompts will help you set it up. Instructions do come with the TiVo unit.
