“Has anyone used this who has also used an Embr wave? I bought the Embr last year and constantly still felt hot while wearing it so now I'm wary of anything that uses the cooled plate method, but the reviews on this are all very high.”

I haven't used that but the plates tend to work great when indoors. I have noticed when i get into my car after work the plates are quickly overwhelmed by that heat build up though so there is still a limit.
