I have chosen basic on my new TV, have done all the steps, put it on HDMC1, when we go to put it on every morning it does not turn on automatically go right to cable. We have to go to settings and put it to HMDC1. Is there a way to not get that screen when turning on? Spoke to a rep yesterday and was disconnected and did not receive a call back. 43LF621U19
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We just spent 2 hours on this. What worked for us was 1. Connect the cable to HDMI 1 as per regular instruction 2. Pick up you cable box remote (not toshiba's) press onto the xfinity button (it will be lit up) 3. The box will turn on and tadaaa! Should work. I really hope this helps someone bc I was ready to return the tv it was so frustrating. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was having the same issue. I unplugged the cable box for 20 seconds (or longer) and the box rebooted and recognized the new TV and now functions normally. A High Speed HDMI cable is not necessary but may be needed for full 4K viewing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Download on TV Apps "Downloder" and search on it for "apps.kinte.net. Download a toggle and also Xfinity Stream for fire Tv...you can search, watch "On Demands" and watch all the channels you subscribed on Comcast main box, and also watch regular tv. Take a tutorial on Youtube if you get lost...is better than nothing. It works for me...before I could watch HBOs on the LR with the main box but now I can watch any of our subscribed channel in my fire TV. Hope this help...do not get frustrated, once you learn how to navigate it is a piece of cake...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the 43LF711U20 43 INCH Model and after trial and error realized that HDMI port 3 is the only port that allows the use of a cable box your tv may be different so try all the HDMI ports to find which one works with the tv unfortunately when you turn on the tv it goes into app mode automatically and you have to manually switch to the HDMI port that your using for cable if I knew this ahead of time I wouldnt have bought a fire edition I would have just gotten a smart tv I t was good deal from 329.00 on sale to 239.00 with an echo dot but like I said if I knew I would have gotten the Samsung smart tv for the same price

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a setting to boot to cable instead of firetv/Apps under the main settings on the Toshiba TV. Toggle the option and every time you turn the tv on it will go straight to cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Toshiba Fire TV. HDMI 3 port worked. Tried 1 and 2 no connection. Powered down Spectrum Cable box, no help. Switched to HDMI 3 and worked! Go Figure. Must be Fire TV trying too to be dominant, even if you don't use it or want it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try moving the cable to HDMI-2 and then switch inputs on the TV to HDMI-2. If that doesn't work, then move cable to HDMI-3 and switch inputs on the TV to HDMI-3 on the tv. If all the HDMI ports display "No Signal" double check that the HDMI cable is securely plugged all the way into the cable box and the TV input. If nothing works, then you either have bad HDMI ports on the tv or a bad HDMI cable. Out side of that, contact Toshiba for support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On the new Toshiba Fire TV 2023 model - what worked for me was to connect to HDMI 1 (ARC) on the television then enter into the Alexa fireTV settings look for last input under the tab called - Display & Sound and turn that on, now when you turn your TV off and back on it will return to which ever channel you were watching last and which input it was under - ( HDMI 1 ).
